  • My favorite scene from ” A Christmas Story” is when Ralfies little brother got overly dressed and couldnt put his arms down and could barely move. Then when Christmas day arrives and Ralfie gets that BB gun and has all these daydreams of being that hero for his family and daydreams of when he shot his eye out amd fakes he was blind for parents to feel bad for him.

  • My favorite scene is when they open the leg lamp box. “Fragile, must be Italian.”

    • I have watched the movie many times as a child.. I now have 3 children of my own and love for them to watch all classic Christmas movies.. but this is one my kids have yet to watch.. we don’t have cable and Netflix’s never has play it.. my favorites scenes of this movie is all the laugh out loud moments..it would be a joy for my kids to watch a play before ever seeing that it’s based from a movie..

    • Congrats, Rebecca! You are our random winner! Please check your email and reply to claim your tickets.

  • Sorry, but I have two and both have to do with the younger brother, Randy. The first one is when his mother is trying to get him to eat. She asks him how piggies eat and he puts his face in his plate and starts eating and snorting like a pig.

The second one is when Randy is under the sink because he thinks his ‘old man’ (dad) is going to kill Ralphie for beating on the bully Scut Farkus. I love how his mom opens the door to the cabinet under the sink and asks Randy if he wants some milk. He does, she gets him a glass of milk, hands it to him and shuts the door back with him still under there. LOL!!

  • So many favorite scenes! I like when brother is too bundled up, when Ralphie takes a stand and of course tongue on light pole. LOL

  • My favorite scene is when they stick their tongue to the poll and it freezes to the poll.

  • It is so hard to chose I love the entire movie. It would be Chinese Restaurant visit. Nothing says Christmas like Chinese food. Lol

  • Honestly, we love the whole story and watch it every year so it is hard to pick just one. The leg lamp arrival is probably my favorite.

  • We’ve NEVER seen a Christmas Story…..so weird right?! We’ve also NEVER been to a play….this would be so many 1st for our family.

  • When Santa kicks him down the slide-as a kid I wanted to go to a mall Santa with a slide!

  • My husband’s favorite holiday movie! My favorite scene is when the poor kid sticks his tongue to the pool and everyone just leaves him.

  • My grown kids watch a continuous loop of A Christmas Story every Christmas morning in their homes. My favorite scene: The chinese restaraunt Fa Rah Rah Rah Rah!

  • My favorite scene is when he falls down in his bundle of clothes and can’t get up!! Its hilarious!

  • My favorite part is when Ralphie sad a bad word and his mother made him put soap in his mouth!! Lmbo!!!! Sooo funny! When I grew up and had children I did the same thing to my two oldest children when they said a bad word at least once. Now that they are 23 and 22 we’ve talked about how I did that to them and we would all fall out laughing. I would tell them that l got it from my favorite Christmas movie A Christmas Story growing up. Too funny!!

  • My favorite scene is little Ralphie coming to the stairs in his adorable pink bunny jammies. The pink nightmare.

  • Christmas morning and the dad gets his bowling ball dropped in his lap

  • The bunny suit. The dogs. The pole.
    F R A G I L E. That leg lamp. The entire movie is a classic.

    • The bunny suit, dogs, pole, f r a I g l e, leg lamp, the entire movie a classic.

  • My favorite scene is when Ralphie and Randy visit Santa. Randy screams as soon as he is put on Santa’s lap. Then it’s Ralphies turn. He freezes up and agrees that he wants a football. The elves put him on the slide but Ralphie finally remembers what he wanted. He climbs back up the slide tells Santa he wants an official red Ryder bb gun. Santa says You’ll shoot your eye out kid and pushes Ralphie down with his foot saying Hohoho. I love this movie. My family and I watch it every year!

  • My favorite scene is when the dogs get in the house and eat all the turkey. So hilarious!

  • This is my husbands favorite movie. He has many favorite scenes. I would say his most is when he gets the B.B. gun.

  • Suddenly I don’t feel so bad that I have not seen A Christmas Story, after scrolling the comments. I have heard people reference several of their favorite scenes from the move. It seems that it is a must-see. I’ll have to add this to our Christmas movie line-up.

  • This classic has many wonderful and memorable scenes from “you will shoot your eye out” with red rider BB gun to many others. Our favorite is always when they dare Ralphie’s friend to stick his tongue to the poll in the school yard and the fire department has to free him.

  • One of my favorite parts is when the family has to go to the only restaurant open on Christmas. The Chinese restaurant. The whole scene with the caroling and the smiling duck that the waiter was so nice to take care of was funny. I loved how they over came the turkey being ruined.

  • Our favorite scene is when the mom breaks the lamp and the dad says “Get… the glue!” Hahahaha! So funny!

  • The part of the movie that I always think of is when his tongue gets stuck to the pole.

  • My favorite scene is when the dad opens the box and sees the leg lamp. How is was so excited about it.

  • It would have to be the scene when Ralphie is blind and his family is asking what could possibly have caused this… “It was… soap POISONING.” The word emphasis and wailing that ensues – it’s hilarious!

  • One of my favorite scenes is the arrival of the leg lamp. FRAGILE. Must be Italian.

  • Like other people have said my favorite scene has to be the tongue on the lightpole!

  • AAAHHHH I hope I’m not to late to eneter 🙂

Can I just say start to finish is my fave? I love when he takes the fruit basket in for the teacher 🙂

  • My favorite scene is when Ralphie sticks his tongue to the poll and it freezes to the poll.

  • My favorite scene is is when the mother bundles the little brother up so much for the snow that his arms stick out and he can barely walk.

  • My favorite scene is when the family goes to see Santa at the mall. The line is long and they are so excited to see him, only to be treated like garbage by the elf and Santa. I love how Randy cries and Ralphie asks for the BB gun and then they get pushed down the big slide. It’s the perfect example of how little kids act and how retail really is!! So funny because it’s true! A Christmas Story is so real!

  • My favorite scene is when Mom prepares “meatloaf, meatloaf, double double beet loaf” and Ralphie’s little brother stuffs his mouth with mashed taters and starts giggling!! It’s laugh out loud funny 😄
