2018 Rocket City Mom Family Favorite Award Winners

When it comes to local family fun we are not fooling around. So despite the fact that we announce these winners each year on April 1st, you know this is NO JOKE.

The Process

Every February we go to our readers, “The Real Experts,” and ask them to share their favorite Rocket City people and places. Each year we have several hundred readers who answer the call and do just that. Then, each March, we ask these same people (along with all their family and friends) to vote for the top three nominees.

It Really Is an Honor Just To Be Nominated

Following this process means that just being a nominee required hundreds of people to say they loved you (no small feat) and then we very frequently have very close races during the voting. Sometimes, it’s just too close to call and then you’ll see a tie.

Just as in years past our readers answered the call (almost 4,000 of you to be exact!) and we are grateful to our wonderful community of RCM followers who took the time to share their area favorites so that newcomers and locals alike could more easily have the “inside scoop” on what makes the Rocket City such a great place for families. Our 2018 Rocket City Mom Family Favorite Award Winners all contribute to making our hometown a pretty amazing place to live.
