Registration Open for Huntsville Museum Academy Winter Classes
The Huntsville Museum of Art’s Museum Academy will offer art classes for age 3 through eighth grade. Classes begin the week of January 15. They will include ceramics, drawing, painting, and multi-media.

- COOL Clay Creations
- Mixed Media Masterpieces
- Building and Sculpting in Clay
- Art for Home-schooled Students Program (Ages 5-13) – Ceramics
- Saturday Parent and Child Classes: Ages 3-5 – POP Art Hearts and Bright and Starry Night
The Museum will offer several high school and adult classes as well. Adults can enjoy classes in ceramics, drawing, acrylic and oil painting, Beginning Metalsmithing, Calligraphy, Intro to Digital Photography and Colored Pencil Techniques. Master Artist Workshops will also be offered this winter and spring– Painting with Light, Color and Joy with Sara Beth Fair (February 9-11). Other workshops include Natural Elements: Painting with the Masters, Old and New Techniques with David Dunlop (May 3-6), and Realistic Watercolor Landscapes with Alan Shuptrine (June 1 and 2).

Huntsville Museum of Art Hours & Admission
Museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m.- 5 p.m.; until 8 p.m. on Thursdays; open Sundays 12- 5 p.m.; closed Mondays and some major holidays. General admission: FREE for members and children 5 and under; $12 for adult non-members; $10 for military, teachers, and seniors with a valid ID; $5 for children ages 6 and up and students; and $8 per person for groups of 10 or more.
