The Alabama Jubilee Hot-Air Balloon Classic is the oldest hot-air balloon race in the mid-South, started in Decatur in 1978. Nothing excites or ignites this town more than hot air balloons! The Jubilee features tethered balloon rides, a nighttime balloon glow, concerts, carnival rides, delicious food, games galore, and a commanding display of fireworks. This free, family friendly series is all about creating a laid back atmosphere to enjoy live music and interesting new acts during the Spring and Fall. Smith Lake Memorial Day Festival

There will be arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, music and entertainment at this Cullman Festival. There will also be a golf cart and bike parade, milk chugging, ice cream eating contest and much more.
Disc Dog & Art 4 Paws Festival

This annual celebration of our furry 4-legged friends will have food trucks, children’s area, arts and crafts, rescue organizations, a amatuer dog show and a blessing of the pets! The Southeast Disc Dog Competition with Skyhoundz will be May 28-29. Each day will start at 9am.
Madison Community Band Patriotic Concert

This “Salute to John Williams” will feature music from his well-known movie scores. Other musical selections will pay tribute to the brave men and women who died while serving in this country’s armed forces.

Come cast your vote for the best Downtown Breakfast! It’s a great spot to cheer on your favorite Cotton Row Runners – they will run right through the area! Afterward, hit up the pop jets at the Children’s Fountain behind Earlyworks.
