Ava’s One Wish Debuts in Huntsville
Ice! Lights! Music! Skating!
The Skating Club of Huntsville and The Huntsville Skating School and Training Academy are teaming up for the 7th year to present a NEW holiday show – Ava’s One Wish.
To provide a unique and rich story for this year’s production, skaters were asked for story input. Five skating school members: Amanda Jackson, Sophie Joy Guo, Ally Ruch, Natalie Beckerink, and Caitlin Kelly submitted works and participated in a writer’s workshop where they were tasked to create one story. Ava’s One Wish was born and now is being brought to life. The show premieres December 4.
The Story
Orphaned Ava’s only wish in this world is to find her mother. Her devoted mouse, Jingles, refuses to leave her side, however, menace lurks thanks to a recurring villian played by professional skater, Wesley Campbell. 75 Regional to National level skaters will absolutely delight you with this holiday season’s most dynamic production. With more than 150 new costumes and modern music ranging from sweet melodic waltzes to dark intense music where our main characters fight to escape the villain of the show, Ava’s One Wish is sure to captivate audience members of all ages!
