Halloween at the Space & Rocket Center 2014

The USSRC is getting into the spirit of Halloween!
Visit Huntsville’s U.S. Space & Rocket Center in your cosmic costume from Friday, Oct. 31 through Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, and get free general admission each day through 3 p.m. Also, on Halloween, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Center will feature our best guest costume on our billboard along I-565!
Or join us on Oct. 31 from 4 to 8 p.m. for the “Spooky Space Spectacular.” Enjoy spellbinding simulators, a moon bounce, Creepy Crafts and out-of-this-world tricks and treats. The special evening includes a 6 p.m. showing of the family-friendly movie, “Hocus Pocus” (Rated PG) in the Davidson Center’s Digital Theater and concludes with a Cosmic Costume Contest for all ages at 7:45 p.m. The cost for this event is $20 for a family of five or $5 per person. For adults looking for some thrilling Halloween fun, on Oct. 30, the Center is also holding a Halloween movie night for adults with a showing of the 1984 horror classic “Nightmare on Elm Street” (Rated R). Showtime is 7 p.m. in the Saturn V Hall Digital Theater. Tickets are $5 and admission is for ages 17 and older. A photo ID will be required to buy tickets and to enter the theater.
