Health Scare Affects Thousands of Huntsville Moms
HUNTSVILLE, AL – The first incident occurred about four years ago, but a strange health condition is being frequently diagnosed in parents all over Huntsville and Madison County.
Local mothers are contracting a rare disease – Eventattenditis. Sufferers find themselves frequently overcommitted to free and cheap local activities. Symptoms include the inability to sleep in on Saturday mornings, a strong desire to stand in long face painting lines, and a burning urge to spend time with their families, especially on the weekends.
Dr. Mindy Lahiri confirms the outbreak of Eventattenditis. “If you or someone you know is experiencing these symptoms, it’s best if you consult an expert immediately.”
One local mom (who wished to remain anonymous) revealed the effect this disease has had on her family. “It’s changed all of our lives. Instead of sitting inside and watching cartoons all day, all we seem to do is trek from one activity to the next. The car is falling apart and the kids are absolutely exhausted at the end of the day. They sleep like rocks! I just don’t know how long we can keep this up.”
Families struggling to cope with Eventattenditis should know there is no present-day cure. Researchers and medical professionals are working tirelessly to develop a vaccine, but are instructing patients to stay calm, and consult Rocket City Mom when the urge to get out and do something occurs.
