Madison City Orchestra Spring Concert

Sat 20th @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Free
Are you ready for a concert?! The MCCO is preparing one of Beethoven’s most celebrated works, Eroica (Symphony #3). Eroica is often considered to be the first Romantic symphony and was debuted in a private performance in 1804. As Beethoven started composing Eroica, his hearing was failing, He wrote a note saying “I know it is going to be really terrible…but I’m going to stay alive for my art.” Eroica lives on today and the MCCO is happy Beethoven had the strength of spirit to continue composing despite his deafness!
The concert is free and appropriate for all ages. This is the first of two performances that will be presented for your enjoyment! The second performance is April 21st at 5:00.
When: April 20 @ 7 PM | April 21 @ 5 PM
