Homeschool Hike for Teens

(Moderate / About 2 hours / About 3 miles or so) Bring a snack and a sketchpad/ nature journal (optional) and join for a monthly Homeschool Teen Hike! Led by Land Trust hike leader Bri Cobert, this will be a casual walk up the Devil’s Racetrack Trail at the Wade Mountain Nature Preserve. The group will stop during the hike to sketch, take pictures, or just appreciate the scenery – don’t expect a fast pace the whole way!
This hike is for teens, ages 12 – 17. A parent or guardian must accompany each teen to the preserve, and we ask that younger siblings not attend.
This event is free but donations to support Land Trust of North Alabama are appreciated.
