Watch, Discuss, Celebrate
Most people have heard of this speech but I find many have never actually read or heard the entire thing. What a shame. If your child is old enough to understand the significance of a brilliant man who could inspire a nation with words, watch this with them and talk about why this speech mattered then and why it still matters today. Then truly celebrate MLK’s legacy with a day of service, even if that service is just helping a neighbor clear their steps and sidewalk of this dang ice!
