Here at Rocket City Mom, we value community service, and want to shine a spotlight on local students doing big things in Huntsville and the surrounding North Alabama area. But we need your help finding students who are serving the community though volunteering or creating projects that solve problems.

We’ll feature each student winner here, as well as award them $250 towards their project thanks to our friends at Martinson & Beason!

Tennessee Valley Student Service Award Criteria

Nominee must be a student between the ages of 10-18 years old
Nominee must live in the North Alabama area
Service projects must benefit a local non-profit organization
Service projects should provide something new, needed, and/or valuable to the community
Individual student projects only
