OK, we know it’s not free, but I wouldn’t list it here if it weren’t worth every penny. This temporary exhibit will only be in Huntsville for a few more weeks, and it’s a great way to spend a chilly day with your family. From stone tools to the birth of the Internet, driven by necessity and accident we humans have shaped our own destiny through invention. It will inspire your kids to make their own inventions! PRO-TIP: If you want a ticket discount, stop by the Huntsville Visitor Center on Church Street.

Working parents who miss the opportunity to take their little ones to storytime during the week now have a weekend option! Ms Teresa will host storytime in Madison with great books, crafts, and sometimes even puppets every 2nd and 4th Saturday. You can also check out a pile of picture books and, weather permitting, explore the Children’s Garden. Reading with your child is one of the best ways to bond with them and make them lifetime lovers of books & learning.
Drop In & Create 3-D Art

We love this program series at HMA! Look for the whimsical faces and animals by glass artist Richard Jolley in the South by Southeast: Masters of Studio Glass exhibition.
