Sherwood Park: NW
- Located at 325 Town and Country Dr. NW, Huntsville
- Open one hour before sunrise until one hour after sunset
Located on five acres of land, Sherwood Park includes a play area, paved walking trail, and a covered pavilion. With play equipment suitable for a variety of ages, this park is great for families with multiple children.
Location: 325 Town and Country (From Old Madison Pike go north on Blocker, left on Marsh, left on Deramus, left on Town & Country Dr. Park is at dead-end.)
A good mix of playground equipment here and lots of it. If you have both small and older children this is a good place to take them. Lots of open space to run around (there is also a concrete walking/jogging loop) and equipment for toddlers through preteens. Not a ton of shade around the play equipment but there are a few benches scattered around and there is a nice large pavilion in case you want to picnic or you get caught in those frequent summer showers.

Anyone know what the distance is around the jogging path, so one can know how many laps to run to go a mile?? It IS a very nice, clean park and conveniently located!
One loop is 1/4 of a mile!
