We love to support local businesses here at Rocket City Mom, especially those that provide goods & services that our readers enjoy. Which is why every Saturday is Small Business Saturday!
Do you have a favorite business you would like to see get the “RCM Bump”? Leave us a comment below and let us know about them! You can revisit past small businesses we’ve featured here, and if you are an entrepreneur and would like your own business featured, contact me at swalker(at)rocketcitymom.com.
However, we’re taking a little break from our usual Small Business Saturday feature to sponsor today’s Good Day Kid’s Festival over at Lowe Mill. Good Day is a free children’s festival intended to inspire and encourage the youth of Huntsville to be creative and artistic. With art booths and performances, it will be hard for participants both young and not-so-young not to have a “Good Day”. Donations will be happily accepted to assist Lowe Mill’s sponsorship of AAA’s playground project. We’ll be there from noon – 4:00 PM rain or shine, so come by and say hello!
Stephenie has worked with and around books and authors for over 12 years, both at retail booksellers and public libraries. She is a rare Huntsville native, mother of two high-energy teens and two ridiculous dogs, spouse of one incredible guy, and eerily addicted to community volunteering. When she's not being the Executive Editor for RCM she likes to stalk her favorite authors online, cook with way too much butter, and conduct freelance marketing and SMM work.
