Welcome Newbies!
So over the past several weeks, I’ve noticed a marked increase in the number of people accessing this site and our Facebook page. First, let me just say, “Welcome and please make yourself at home.” This site was created to make being a parent in Huntsville just a tiny bit easier. I hope you find something here that you like and find useful. You’ve obviously found our blog or you wouldn’t be reading this but maybe you aren’t taking full advantage of all that is great about this site. To that end, I’d like to show you around and point out a few things you might have missed.
We’ve Got Resources
Have you visited our Resources section? We’ve got the always popular Kids Eat Free section where we break down the many places children eat free (or cheap) at local establishments by the day of the week. Then we have a Classes and Lessons list divided by age in case you are looking for something to do with your little one(s) before, during or after school. We also have a brand new Birthday Party Planner to help give you some ideas for that next big hoopla. We’ve also got Homeschooling info in addition to a variety of other information you might find helpful.

Speaking of helpful…don’t miss our Rocket City Tips where local moms give you the low-down on local attractions, restaurants and parks. Want to know which restaurants are kid-friendly and which are decidedly not? You are in the right place. Need the 411 on which parks have potties? Again, you’ve hit the jackpot!
We’ve Got Recommendations
Finally, don’t miss our Mom Recommended Directory. This ever expanding directory is made entirely of businesses that have been Mom Approved. Looking for a great childcare provider? Read what other local moms have said about their experiences and then make a more informed decision. Is it time to get your next family portrait done but you’re not sure how much you need to spend to find a great photographer? Check out our list and know that you are finding a great deal no matter what!
