Unfortunately, it does look like rain on Saturday, so we’ve whipped up a list of awesome places to Trick-or-Treat Indoors on Halloween.

Trick or Treat at the Library

Friday & Saturday

We love all of the Halloween events the local library system has to offer – from puppet shows to costume contests to our favorite spooky stories, there’s something going on at just about every branch.
Main Library – Friday trick-or-treating from 9AM-5PM. Spooktacular Puppet Show at 4PM
Eleanor Murphy Library – Movies, games, refreshments & pumpkin decorating contest. from 3-6 PM
Triana Library – Costume Night at the Movies at 6 PM
Tillman Hill Library – a week of Halloween events

Twickenham Scare

Trick-or-treating, live music, costume contests and more! The businesses downtown at Twickenham Square have come together to offer treats, and it’s a great in-between option for rainy weather.

Harbor Halloween in Decatur

Friday from 6-9 PM

Costume contest, carnival games, concessions and much more make up this annual Halloween festival in Decatur along the waterfront.

Halloween at Lowe Mill

Saturday from

Everyone’s favorite historic mill is a fun place to be on Halloween! Trick-or-Treating at the artist studios is from 4-6 PM, the kid’s Pizza Party Massacre show is from 4-5 PM, and the annual Dia de los Muertas celebration is Sunday from 3-8 PM.

Insane Nightmare on Scare Street

Saturday 5-10 PM

Trunk or Treating, pumpkin carving, and a variety of activities are happening at Madison’s Skatepark. Indoor skating, mini golf, and other activities will have a fee.
