While the weather hasn’t exactly made it feel like Spring Break around here we’re doing our best to keep the *Party* atmosphere alive. Even if you’ve managed to miss all the seasonal consignment sales of the season up to now, you might want to stop by the final two days of this one.  With more than 1,800 consigners, Kid’s Market is the largest such sale in North Alabama and this Friday and Saturday, all items NOT marked in RED are 50%. Some great deals can be had.

WERU_#2Family Farm Day

Saturday, 10AM-5PM

This is the second annual Family Farm and Fleece Day presented by the TN Valley Women in Agriculture and  just like last year, you can expect a whole lot of fun. There will be animals, arts and crafts, free children’s games, door prizes and much more. Admission and parking are free. The event will be held at the A&M Agribition Center.

In addition to a KIDtastic fashion show, the Belks at Parkway Place and Madison Square Malls are pulling out all the stops for Kidfest. Parkway Place will even have a certain fairy princess who might be perusing the shoe department! Activities for children include face painting, coloring, activity table, and refreshments. United Way will also be there promoting healthy children and healthy living and the Huntsville Ballet School will perform a bit of their upcoming (April 12) show Cinderella at Parkway Place. After the fashion show the princess herself be on hand to have her picture made with kids in the Children’s department.

WERU_#4Craft Day @ Legacy

Legacy Church is opening their doors and inviting the public in to enjoy an day of crafts all to help raise money for their youth ministry. Craft Day admission is $5 per individual planning to participate in the crafts (so parents only pay if they want to craft with their child). There will be a total of 9 different craft tables and crafts for each participant to enjoy and concessions will be available for purchase.

Saturday & Sunday, 9AM-6PM & 12-5PM

Every weekend Sci-Quest is offering a variety of hands-on activities, shows and learning labs to experience while visiting. Science Weekends offer opportunities for your child to witness kitchen science experiments with solids, liquids and gases, see how tall you can build a straw tower or design a circuit, and engage in science and engineering activities designed specifically for our littlest visitors! All activities are included with general admission.
