Happy weekend, Huntsville – and happy birthday, USA!

There is no shortage of things to do to celebrate in-between your barbecues and family gatherings. Before you plan your 4th of July menu, be sure to hit up the closest Farmer’s Market near you – fresh watermelons, peaches and blueberries are plentiful!

This summer concert in Madison is a best-kept secret and not as crowded as most, making it a great event with kids. Tonight even more so – Rocket City Mom will be there a few children’s activities at the concert! LEGO Duplo blocks, hoola hoops, bubbles, and Lincoln Logs. Come by and say hello!

Spirit of America Festival

Festival goers will be entertained with an incredible lineup of live music, carnival rides, children’s activities, and more with the fun beginning on July 1st and culminating with a spectacular fireworks show and a free concert on the night of July 4th.

These hands-on workshops designed for children ages 5-12. Workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. Today’s project is building a miniature Ice Age bowling game.
