Climb Out of Darkness

This annual event includes a a potluck breakfast, followed by a family friendly hike around the lake. Held near the longest day of the year, Climb Out of the Darkness® is the world’s largest event raising awareness of maternal mental illnesses like postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety & OCD, postpartum PTSD, and pregnancy depression and anxiety.

Family Fun Fest & Expo

This hard-hitting double header will feature Huntsville’s own junior roller derby teams, the Rocket City Rebels vs Li’l Nemesisters @4:30pm. At 7:00 PM help cheer own the Dixie Derby Girls as they go head to head with long-time rivals from Birmingham, the Tragic City Rollers! A portion of bout proceeds will benefit Project Sweet Peas, and food trucks Fire & Spice and Chupper Time will be onsite if you get hungry. Doors open @4:00pm.
