Friday Night Downtown

Friday from 5PM – 9PM

Northside Square & Big Spring Park

Grab the family and kick the weekend off right! Start with a Friday Night Art Walk and discover 40 vendors with a wide variety of art forms. Then grab a bite of supper or pack a picnic and head to the park to watch The Goonies on the big screen under the stars.

Concert On the Dock – BonnaWHO?

Are you sick of the biggest festival of the year being only two hours away from your hometown but you can’t afford to go? Well here’s a free alternative! All local, all loud BonnaWHO festival will end the Spring Concerts on the Dock season at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. Family Fun Fest

With a host of activities, this indoor (and air conditioned!) family event is designed to entertain all ages from toddlers to preteens to adults. You’ll find a variety of free activities, interactive games, crafting classes, inflatables, a carousel, face painting, safety demonstrations and free health screenings.

Family Day & Petting Zoo

Bring the entire family and neighborhood youth out for a day of fun educational interactive activities, including exhibits, outdoor games, vendors, a petting zoo, food, and music. The theme this year is “Celebrating Family Literacy!” and includes face painting, games, and storytimes.

Baby, Oh Baby!

Take a little road trip from Huntsville and head to Gadsden for fun, family-friendly atmosphere for children of all ages with a wide variety of vendors for families, food vendors, activities, door prizes, performances, live animal show, inflatables and more.

Marina Day at Ditto

Hear performances by Amy McCarley, Stillwater Bluegrass, and Bluewater Road. There will be a BBQ competition, inflatables, craft painting, kid-friendly food trucks, a fire truck and a race car on display for the kids.

1864 Reenactment Baseball Game

The Huntsville Vintage Base Ball Club presents a new home team for Huntsville to root for – The Redcaps! Each match will be a reenactment played by the rules of 1864, with our ballists in era-appropriate uniforms, using era-appropriate equipment. Bring your children or paw babies and a seat or a quilt, and come enjoy a hardy game of glove-free, wooden bat baseball!

Kid’s Night Out

4 hours of fun, games and a pizza dinner for children ages 4-12 on the second Saturday of every month (dates may change to accommodate holidays or special events). Registration is required and encouraged in advance – it just makes drop off go more smoothly!
