Star Wars in the Park

The Force will debut at sundown on a big inflatable screen in Big Spring Park. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is tonight’s movie! Folks arrive early to claim a prime viewing spot and enjoy featured entertainment before the movie begins, and families can take advantage of the Kids Corner area as well as food trucks starting at 6PM. Movies begin at sundown.

Drop-in & Create Saturdays are FREE for children and parents/guardians! It’s a hands-on art activity appropriate for the entire family. It’s your last chance to see the Dixie Derby Girls this season, and they are a FORCE to be reckoned with! The 501st Legion will be joining DDG for this epic Star Wars themed bout. I Love Bacon, Highway Kabobbery, and Sugar Belle food trucks will all be there if you get hungry. Huntsville’s own junior roller derby team (ages 8-18) will take the track at 4:30 PM against the Rome Rollerettes.
