Festival of Cranes at Wheeler

This is a pretty special event, and one that only happens once a year in North Alabama. There’s fun for the whole family, including an animal show, hiking, kid’s activities and an interactive presentation on some of the most endangered birds on the planet.

Art Market & ROC Day

Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment | More Info

Every Saturday you can stroll through the historic Lowe Mill Artist Market as vendors occupy the spaces between the diverse and eclectic studios of Flying Monkey Arts. This Saturday you can also enjoy ROC Day, a community celebration of fiber arts, to see demonstrations of spinning, weaving, crocheting, and knitting with a chance to join in!

UAH Chargers Hockey

Friday and Saturday at 7:00 PM

Cheer on the home team from the moment the puck hits the ice! If you’ve never been to a Charger’s hockey game this is a great family outing.

The USSRC is a great place to spend a cold day and this interactive exhibit is only here for a few more weeks. Why not make a day of it and go see Star Wars: The Force Awakens in IMAX while you’re at it?
