January weekends are usually pretty quiet in North Alabama, but this weekend still has some awesome things going on in the Huntsville area.

The Chargers start the new year – and a WCHA playoff push – at home against Minnesota State! Friday there’s a team photo giveaway and Saturday will include a hockey trading card giveaway.

Do You Want to Build a Toolbox?

You and your child can get to work on a wood toolbox they can use for keeping anything from art supplies to toys neat and portable. After you build it together you can paint it! Be sure to read our Parent Review before you go.

AYB Open House & Rummage Sale

Learn more, watch a class, and register for classes at the Alabama Youth Ballet. There will also be a free pilates class at 9:30am (bring your own mat) and a dancewear rummage sale from 9:30-12.

ABC’s of Success
