Love is in the air, and with it comes plenty of opportunities to have some free and/or cheap family fun in Huntsville! As always, our Weekend Roundup lists some of our favorite events, but you can find even more in our full Event Calendar. To get you in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we asked local kids about what they thought about love. Their answers are pretty awesome!

Opus Tadpole

Children (and their parents and grandparents) have fun discovering the answers to these musical questions and more during twenty-minute Opus Tadpole presentations, entertaining and interactive ways for our youngest listeners to learn about the instruments of the orchestra. This popular free program at HMA will help your family explore the cave art of prehistoric times in A Walk Through Time. Produce an animal drawing with crayon and craft paper.

Bake Sale for the Dogs

This group of Destination Imagination 4th graders have entirely planned out a community bake sale, from baking the items, organizing the event, and coordinating with GHHS. Stop by, show your support, and pick up a yummy treat to share with your friends and family!

Black History Festival
