It’s the last chance to catch a movie under the stars downtown! Folks arrive early to claim a prime viewing spot and enjoy featured entertainment before the movie begins, and families can take advantage of the Kids Corner area as well as food trucks starting at 6PM. Movies begin at sundown – tonight’s feature will be Pixar’s Inside Out.

Garden Giveback Day

Saturday from 9AM – 5PM

Twickenham Fest Pajama Jam

Keep your pajamas on Saturday morning August 26th and join the Twickenham Fest musicians at the downtown Huntsville Public Library to get to know 1o different instruments! From bassoon to flute, learn how each instrument makes their music, and how instruments work together to make a beautiful piece of music come to life. Complimentary custom coloring books are provided at this free event for the whole family. Registration is highly recommended – RSVP here.

Women’s Football Clinic

Get some exercise AND there’s free childcare? This women-only clinic will be run by former Head Football Coach of Alabama A&M, Ray Greene (Spoiler alert: he’s awesome)! Learn some football basics, run plays and have fun with a two-hand touch scrimmage. Women ages 16+ are welcome. Kids are welcome to play in the attached gymnasium space and will be supervised by Rec Center staff.

25th Annual Crape Myrtle Festival

Saturday from 2-8 PM

This annual festival will be held in downtown Ardmore this year. Vendors of all kinds will be set up as well as live entertainment, a cornhole tournament, a “Flea Market Flip” contest, children’s games and a splash area.

Play Time at the Princess

The Princess Theatre Creative Performance Academy and Dream Weavers Children’s Theatre partner together to bring you a Sunday afternoon filled with fun activities, crafts and registration opportunities to get your child involved in theatre. Take part in mini acting workshops, costuming, choreography, and rock painting and learn more about how to get involved.

Fidos After Five

The Garden is “going to the dogs” like never before. The all new Fidos After Five invites the pooches to enjoy the Garden Monday–Thursday evenings. Limestone County Summer Fair
