Concert on the Dock

Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment | More Info

This free, family friendly series is all about creating a laid back atmosphere for friends of Lowe Mill to enjoy original content and interesting new acts, Friday nights during the Spring and Fall. 4th Annual Super Saturday

Farmer’s Markets

Hooray! It’s Farmer’s Market season in Alabama, and there are several to choose from this weekend. But our favorite is the grand opening of the new Village of Providence Artisans & Farmers Market. The village is also hosting a Walk for MS that day and there are lots of places to grab lunch – you could spend a full morning here!

Healthy Kids Day

Saturday from 9AM-Noon

Improve your family’s health & well-being! Bounce houses, Kids ZUMBA, smoothie sampling, kid-friendly vendors, a Search and Rescue dog demonstration, HEMSI, Madison Fire Department and a child ID program in addition to make and take fun and summer learning information will all take place.

Back When Day

Saturday from 9AM-3PM

Arab Historic Village | More Info

Features many interactive activities that would have been common in households and on the farm during Post- Depression and World War II era, for both children and adults. There will be lots of good “ole time” music and pinto beans, turnip greens and cornbread, along with smoked pork (for a charge.)
