Knight of Champions Racing & Car Show at Huntsville Speedway

Curbside Trick-or-Treat at the Library

Celebrating Halloween with a 2020 flair! You can get a treat bag along with your curbside pickup of library materials October 26 through the 31st. Available for curbside pick up with checkout ONLY!! We will bring out treat bags along with your checked out library materials. The SpOT Clinic Trunk or Treat

The SpOT Clinic is having a Trunk or Treat for the children of the greater Huntsville area. We would love to see “our kiddos” in addition to other little ghosts and princesses. Earlyworks Halloween Bash

The EarlyWorks Halloween Bash invites little ghosts and  ghouls to gather for socially distanced trick or treating and contactless games. Timed-tickets will allow only 20 guests every 15 minutes. Each family will have a 45 minute trick or treating experience!Masks are required for all guests.

Dia De Los Muertos Halloween

La Esquina Cocina presents Dia De Los Muertos in Downtown Huntsville, a unique Mexican tradition celebrating family and friends in the afterlife. This free, family-friendly event features live music, salsa lessons an outdoor street market with local vendors and authentic Mexican food and drinks. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes and masks, and kids can enjoy safe trick or treating and a kids Zumba class! Thanks to the City of Huntsville, Holmes Ave will close off for safe social distancing.

Hogan YMCA Honk-or-Treat

Come out to the Hogan YMCA for our 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat. This year’s event will look a little different than normal, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! Bring your family by the YMCA from 4-6pm to our curbside event and each child will receive a bag filled with candy, activity sheets, and information from our sponsors! Join Rocket City Wranglers for a unique Halloween Trunk or Treat event with the Rocket City Trash Pandas on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM on Toyota Field! Immediately following the Trunk or Treat, join the Rocket City Trash Pandas for a showing of Hocus Pocus beginning at 7:00 PM.

Trick ‘n’ Trees at Huntsville Botanical Garden

At Trick ‘n’ Trees, guests will journey along an interactive story path following the story of The Halloween Tree by Susan Montanari, a festive tale of a spooky tree who is determined to be different. Led by the story pages hidden throughout the Garden, guests will enjoy a scavenger hunt of the signs of autumn along with fun fall- and tree-themed activities. Make a leaf rubbing, create a “leaf monster,” plant a seed to take home, and even decorate your own Halloween Tree! This is an opportunity to celebrate Halloween outdoors at your own pace, all while enjoying the beauty of Autumn. It’s a spooktacular day of Fall festivities, Halloween fun, tricks, treats…and trees! Costumes are encouraged, so come dressed for the occasion!

Looking for a safe and fun trick-or-treat event for Halloween this year? Well, look no more! Glittering Star No. 94 is hosting its first Trick-or-Treat Drive Thru Party, a safe and contactless event for kids and their families to enjoy. Drive up with your goody bag or bucket and receive your Halloween TREATS and maybe even a few TRICKS! Free candy bags for children ages 1-13 with treats, music, prizes and more. Drive-Thru Trick or Treat Parade

Load up your vehicle with costumed kids (or grown folks) and roll on through our ‘Trick or Treat Parade’!  You and your family are the float though we supply the goodies.  Just imagine a reverse Mardi Gras parade with spookier spectators slinging sweets at you from a safe distance. Whether you choose to decorate your vehicle for the occasion (please do!) or just join the route, be sure to keep your windows rolled down so you can catch all the treats being tossed your way while you show off this year’s disguise! All those who wish to join the parade must be in a motor vehicle.  If you choose to leave your vehicle, face coverings are required on the property though luckily you will already be wearing a mask!

Madison’s Insane DRIVE-THRU Nightmare on Skate Street

The 5th year of Madison’s Insane Nightmare on Skate Street will be a little different this year to comply with social distancing and safety. Each year local Publix & Kroger stores open their doors to children dressed in costumes Halloween night to explore each department. Past activities have included decorating cookies in the bakery, playing a game of golf in the produce section or getting an ice cream cone in the frozen foods section. It’s fun. It’s cute. It’s free!   • I wanted to share that St. Thomas Episcopal Church in south Huntsville is hosting. Holy Boo-Charist and Trunk or Treat. Wednesday Oct.30 5:30pm to 830pm.
