Tailgating Recipes with Aunt Bee

Good morning FOOTBALL FANS!!! Uncle Bee and I are a ‘house divided’ when it comes to football. One of us is for Auburn and the other is for the evil side…kidding…. kind of…. In all seriousness, we Alabamians can agree on two things: We have the best two college football programs in the country and the best football tailgate parties in the world!
I am so excited to bring y’all some of our family’s favorite FOOTBALL recipes and a special recipe from guest blogger Noshing With The Nolands! There is a little bit of everything in this roundup, and I hope you find something you like. And remember, tailgating calories don’t count because we burn them all up cheering for our favorite teams.
Favorite Football Recipes for The Big Game
Finger Lickin’ Chicken Drummettes – The star of our football food round up are these Finger Lickin’ Chicken Drumettes from superstar blogger Tara Noland, over at Noshing With The Nolands. Her homemade BBQ sauce makes them absolutely irresistible!
Three Meat Chili – I don’t care if it is 90 degrees, the first day of college football, we have chili! Chili and football go together like crimson & white or orange & blue.
Spicy Brown Sugar Bacon Wrapped Smokies – These are like meat candy. The combination of sweet, salty and spicy is sensational, and they are fastest thing to go at any party. You just can’t make enough of them.
Chili Con Queso – This is our ABSOLUTE favorite game day/party recipe! It is my mom’s recipe and EVERYBODY just raves about it and always requests the recipe! Y’all are going to LOVE it!!!
Queso Blanco – This white cheese dip is a hit with the kiddos and adults alike! So creamy, who can resist….just…1…more… chip….
Bacon Cheeseburger Crescents – What is not to love about a big ole juicy bacon cheeseburger? Even better? Stuffing it inside a crescent roll. Oh yes.
Dijon & Cream Cheese Sausage Balls – No one will ever guess what the ‘secret ingredient’ in these sausage balls are. All they will know is they can’t stop eating them!
Greek Yogurt & Dill Veggie Dip – I never thought I would find a veggie dip I liked enough to dip ACTUAL veggies in it. This is SO delicious! The feta in the dip, absolutely MAKES IT.
Beer Cheese Spread – I am living proof, you don’t have to be a beer drinker to like beer cheese! Beware though, this stuff is addictive!!! Great for dipping a cracker, veggie or a spoon!
We want to hear from you! What are your favorite tailgating foods? What is your favorite football team?
