#iHeartHsv Shows Some Love for Huntsville this February!

Returning for its ninth year, the Huntsville Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is kicking off Huntsville’s biggest “digital lovefest,” the #iHeartHsv social media campaign. It’s your chance to share what you love most about Huntsville and Madison County. Everyone is invited to join the CVB in celebrating all things travel and hospitality in the Rocket City by using the hashtag #iHeartHsv on social media.

#iHeartHsv Daily Contest

Starting Tuesday, February 1, and lasting through Monday, February 14, social media users who respond to daily prompts posted via the CVB’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram channels using the hashtag #iHeartHsv could win big during the two-week campaign. The Huntsville/Madison County CVB will pick a daily winner each night at 8:00 PM, awarding them with a range of prizes – anything from hotel stays, dining gift cards, tickets to local attractions, and more.

How to Win!
Winners will be selected by the CVB based on use of the hashtag #iHeartHsv, relevance to the day’s prompt, and creativity. For more information on how #iHeartHsv works, visit huntsville.org/iHeartHsv.

Entries for prize drawings will open each day of the campaign at 8:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM The winner will be contacted shortly thereafter and publicly announced via CVB social media channels. More details on entry rules can be found here.

“Dear Hospitality, We Love You”

In addition to the contest, the theme for this year – Dear Hospitality, We Love You – centers around showing appreciation for those working in the Rocket City hospitality industry. Digital Valentine messages expressing words of encouragement from the public will be shared with those working in hospitality across the Huntsville/Madison County area. The Valentines can be sent via online form on the CVB’s website at huntsville.org/iHeartHsv.

As an incentive to garner as many submissions as possible, the CVB will draw a $500 cash prize winner from all entries submitted through February 1-14. The winner will be announced by February 16.

Returning for 2022

#iHeartHsv Valentines – Five, unique “Huntsville-centric” paper Valentines are back once again for sale in the Downtown Huntsville Visitor Center on Church Street. The designs, which were created by local graphic artist Crisy Meschieri, feature various Huntsville points of interest including the Weeden House Museum & Garden, Big Spring International Park, the Cosmic Christ mural at First Baptist Church (or “Eggbeater Jesus” as it is often lovingly referred to), Ditto Landing, and of course, a rocket. The Valentines are sold individually for $2.00 (individual cards available in person at the Visitor Center only) or sets of all five for $8.
