Lucky for us that Huntsville has lots of opportunities for your family to enjoy FREE music all summer long. City Lights & Stars Concert Series

This series will be held outdoors on select Fridays through September at Burritt’s Gazebo and Grounds. The City Lights and Stars Concert Series showcases a broad variety of family-friendly musical genres to include mambo, jazz, pop-funk, and more. The concerts will take place outdoors, rain or shine. For the safety of attendees, tickets must be purchased in advance and no tickets will be available at the gates.

Arts Huntsville and the City of Huntsville’s Department of Parks and Recreation will once again present the 2021 Concerts in the Park season. These concerts, held for ten weeks every Monday evening, begin June 7 and conclude August 9. The series will showcase a mix of musical genres from rock and roll, pop and top 40 to swing, country, bluegrass, Celtic and jazz. The series is free to the public; concertgoers should bring their own seating and leashed pets are welcome. Picnics are welcome, though concertgoers will have a variety of dinner choices available via local food trucks.

Sponsored by the City of Decatur Parks and Recreation Department, this concert series on the banks of the Tennessee River runs every Monday in June and July (with the exception of the weeks of Memorial Day and Independence Day). These FREE concerts offer a wide variety of musical styles in a family-friendly setting. Guests are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets. Per Decatur City Ordinance, alcohol is not permitted in the park and pets must be leashed according to City laws.

Live Music at The Camp

Sponsored by the Mountain Valley Arts Council of Guntersville, Mountain Valley Arts Council continues its Spring Concert Series through May. You can expect great food trucks, kid’s games, face-painting, & amazing local music, all located within the Guntersville Arts & Entertainment District in Errol Allan Park. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets! In the event of rain, the concert will be held at Bakers on Main.

Singing on the Square Summer Concert Series

Limestone County Courthouse, Athens

This annual singing series hosted by the Athens-Limestone County Tourism Association features a variety of local talent on the select Fridays of the month from May to August on the Marion Street steps of the Limestone County Courthouse. No seating is provided, so camp and lawn chairs are suggested.  Come early and enjoy the stores and restaurants before the show. The rain location for this event is the Vietnam Veterans of Veterans Post 17915 West Elm Street in Athens.
