Parent Review: McWane Science Center
Stephenie has worked with and around books and authors for over 12 years, both at retail booksellers and public libraries. She is a rare Huntsville native, mother of two high-energy boys, wife of one, and eerily addicted to community volunteering. When she's not being the Managing Editor for RCM she likes to stalk her favorite authors online, cook with way too much butter, and also manages to conduct freelance marketing and PR work.
Thank you so much for this post! I was planning next year’s curriculum, and SciQuest was looking likely our choice for Science!
I really appreciate your post, and I learned about several places I didn’t know had homeschool classes!
That’s awesome! I think there will be more and more that pop up – we’ll add them to this post as they do.
Hey there! On my phone so hard to pull up each link, but do you happen to know if any of the STEM opportunities you listed are aimed at pre-schoolers (my son is three), or do they mostly just begin with K and up?
I would start with Bricks 4 Kids, Solomon’s Academy, and the Huntsville Botanical Garden for STEM programs specifically for pre-K age.
