Public is invited to free family show Wilde Creatures

Broadway Theatre League is proud to invite the public to another great outreach offering in 2020. Live theatre is a wonderful way of introducing children to plays and instilling an early love of the arts.  These free family friendly shows are also perfect for parents reluctant to spend a lot of money on young children who may not even be able to sit through a show yet.

This year’s show, Wilde Creatures, is based on the fairy tales of Oscar Wilde and will be sure to entertain kids ages 5-105! Plan to bring your family out on Thursday, February 20, but don’t delay in registering for your free tickets since these shows always sell out.

About the Show

A traveling band of story-telling musicians called the Wilde Creates tell the story of a poor town. The Mayor wants to put up a statue of himself but the townspeople have other ideas. They think there are other people who might deserve the statue instead. They tell stories about  these people to show the Mayor how great they are, only it turns out they might not be so great after all…

This show is recommended for ages 5+

About the Outreach Program
