When you and the kids are frolicking at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens be sure to stop in to the Garden of Eat’N for lunch. Here’s why.
Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro is so welcoming and warm for families, and they are paying attention to tender tummies. I have to say, hands down, that this is my favorite Huntsville eatery.
Do you like the big city? Chicago and Toronto are the most populous places I’ve visited. I was in each for a couple of days. I enjoyed myself. And then, I was quite ready to go home. That’s my consistent experience with a truly big city. Visit? Love it. Stay? Y’all can have it. However, […]
Picasso’s Grill is a locally owned restaurant that recently moved from Athens to County Line Road in Madison. But is it family friendly? And how truly kid-friendly is it? Our Parent Review has all the details!
The newly opened Bravo! Cucina Italiana at Bridgestreet is Huntsville’s latest Italian dining hot spot. The combination of great food, reasonable prices, and an extensive menu with options for everyone is sure to make Bravo a family favorite!
If you ever visited any of the previous restaurants in this location, you’ll be amazed by the transformation in décor and atmosphere at Las Trojas Cantina in Madison. The enormous light fixtures play against an indirectly-lit ceiling that does a good sky impression. There are whimsical little touches everywhere.
We have a new grocery store here in Madison! Sprouts Farmers Market officially opened their doors to the public March 18th. I had the opportunity to meet up with Caitlin (an employee of Sprouts) and she was nice enough to show me around. I have to say, I was pretty impressed!
Located at the Opry Mills Shopping Center in Nashville, TN, the Rainforest Cafe has been a favorite of our family’s since our oldest son could talk. Upon entering, you automatically feel as though you have been transported to a tropical rainforest. Huge tropical fish tanks with brightly colored fish surround the entrance.
You’ll want to study this menu before you’re put on the spot at the counter. There are over three dozen entrées on the regular menu and five weekly specials. Our only complaint? No changing tables.
I highly recommend this for a special family night out, a date night (whether it is the just the adults or a special mommy/child or daddy/child outing), or any time you want really delicious Italian food.
Mexican food in downtown Huntsville? Yes, please! Queue TACO MAMA. Pie and casserole preparations left me unwilling to cook dinner. It was a great excuse to try the new spot.
