The City of Huntsville’s Parks & Recreation Department is always super busy lately maintaining spaces for families to enjoy during the summer. Some of these public spaces was created with our fur babies in mind! The Hampton Cove and Owens Cross Roads area now has a brand new dog park – the fourth of its kind in the metropolitan area. We sent our “Rover Reporter” to give you the scoop on the Hampton Cove Dog Park.
Hampton Cove Dog Park Details
Location: 265 Wade Road, just off Highway 431 South (map)
Amenities:
- Two areas to separate large dogs from small dogs
- Covered pavilion with picnic tables on each side
- Over an acre of open space for dogs to run and play
- Watering station
- Secure fencing
- Plenty of parking
