Get out your bullet journals and mark this down! Learning Expo 2014 is this Saturday from 10AM-3PM at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s Saturn V Hall (inside the Davidson Center). Why, you might ask, should you bother to venture from your warm bed on a Saturday morning? You’re a busy parent, you’ve got other stuff to do. What’s so awesome about this learning expo?

I’m so glad you asked. We don’t want to waste your time so we’ve prepared this handy infographic to help you determine if Learning Expo 2014 is right for you.
Okay. I’m Going, What Should I Expect?
BRING THE KIDS. We’ve got lots for them to do this year including two special shows by Steve Trash, Eco-Magician at 10AM and again at 2PM. Gabrielle’s Facepainting will be there and performances by Mr. E! the Motivator and the Fantasy Playhouse Players will also keep them entertained.
BRING YOUR BIG PURSE. With more than 40 exhibitors representing all manner of education related options in the Tennessee Valley you’re going to get a lot of information in a short period of time and a lot of brochures and business cards. You want to make sure you have a place to put everything!
BRING A NOTEPAD. In addition to great performances, we also have several speakers and Q&A panels sharing information about topics ranging from preparing your child for Kindergarten, to understanding college savings plans, to the basics of homeschooling in Alabama, as well as strategies for your non-traditional learner. BRING YOUR WALKING SHOES. When you’re all finished with Learning Expo fun, make sure you take advantage of the opportunity to explore the Space and Rocket Center for FREE! This is just the icing on the cake of a great day but what yummy icing 🙂
