Fall Break Labs will experience a surge in energy this year as students participate in hands – on lessons that engage their minds in all things related to the transfer of energy. Be prepared for students to learn how to make lightning, wind turbines, and ice cream! Pre-K through 8th grade. Registration + De-Enrollment Deadline: September 27.

Alexander’s Martial Arts

Combining martial arts, personal development, crafts, activities, field trips and more! This mini-version of Alexander’s summer program is perfect for kids who are looking to get some pent-up energy out during Fall Break. Kids will swim, participate and games and sporting activities, and engage in a free bully proof workshop.  Ages 5-12.

The ARTnasium

Get artistic this fall break! Activities will allow campers to paint/decorate a pumpkin, create a fall t-shirt, bake pumpkin bread, create our own wooden pumpkins, string art sign. There will be a fall themed craft each day plus other activities as time allows.

Nature Ranger Fall Break Camp – “Digging Up History”

Have you ever wondered what life was like for people of the past, or puzzled over how historians figure that out? Join us at Burritt’s Nature Rangers Fall Break Camp “Digging Up History,” as we become archaeologists and history explorers and dig up the past! Each day we’ll have a chance to dig up evidence of the past, figure out where and when it came from, and do hands-on arts, crafts, and activities that were common in years gone by.

Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theatre

Huntsville Botanical Garden

Every camp has exciting hands-on activities including experiments, games, and crafts, and campers explore many different areas of the Garden through nature walks, free time in the Children’s Garden and organized physical education games in the afternoons. Ages 6-13.

Huntsville Museum of Art

In this multi-dimensional camp, learn about the basic elements of art – color, line, shape and texture. Each day campers will make a new project using the “material of the day” using paint, clay, collage, and other materials for embellishment. The Education department will provide structure, fun and friends in a safe, stimulating environment. Museum gallery visits included for inspiration. For ages 5-10.

Huntsville STEAM Works

Huntsville STEAM Works is offering seven different fun half-day camp options that combine science, technology, engineering, math, and creativity including AMT Outpost, Create A Monster, Dangerous Planet, Germs, Minecraft, Survivor! Apocalypse, and Harry Potter. Divided into age groups of K-2, 3-5, and 6-8.

The Matrix Gym

If your child is looking for some out of this world fun then the Rocket Explorer Experience might be the answer! The fall break camp is Rocket Explorer Experience – Astronomy. Activities include participation in engaging STEAM activities, experiencing the Intuitive Planetarium, taking part in hands-on labs, exploring the museum, and Live Science Shows in the Discovery Theater. Ages 5-8.

Spirited Art

Spirited art is the perfect day camp opportunity for your budding artist to release their creative juices over Fall Break! Each camper will create 1-2 projects and/or paintings each day using different materials. Our afternoon sessions will be for free art time.  Campers will be welcome to use any of the materials in the studio to create their masterpieces.  During breaks we will have time for board games and outdoor time if the weather permits.

Don’t worry about what your child will be doing during their school break anymore! Send them to the YMCA’s School Holiday Camp, so that they can have a blast with their peers while being supervised by our exceptional staff. Camp is provided for kids in grades K through 6.
