Discovering Mars: Robot Explorers is now open with full-scale models of the Mars Sojourner, Mars Exploration and Curiosity rovers along with the InSight Mars Lander, and the Ingenuity helicopter. Each of these vehicles in this interactive exhibit represents the kinds of robotic technologies that have explored the Martian surface, providing valuable insight on our solar system neighbor - Mars.

The 1st Annual Lake Guntersville Summer Bash is our way of celebrating the last days of summer before school starts back! Maker Monday programming is included with museum admission and is intended to stimulate inquiring minds of all ages with hands-on STEM demonstrations and guided, engaging activities.
This class is designed for first time parents and their family. During the class, mom and support person will learn how to prepare for their baby and baby care basics. They will discuss newborn appearances and characteristics, getting to know your newborn, baby communication, baby growth and development and keeping baby safe. This class will be informative for the whole family including grandparents and babysitters!

Discovering Mars: Robot Explorers is now open with full-scale models of the Mars Sojourner, Mars Exploration and Curiosity rovers along with the InSight Mars Lander, and the Ingenuity helicopter. Each of these vehicles in this interactive exhibit represents the kinds of robotic technologies that have explored the Martian surface, providing valuable insight on our solar system neighbor - Mars.

Join on Thursdays (during the school year) for BRICK DAY for Home Schooled children. Take advantage of this opportunity to use LEGO® building as a way to teach building techniques, structure, logic, or any of a number of other things, or just to play! They will be adding a series of challenges to be used each day you come in. Simply pick one of the challenges and we will provide you with other needed items for that challenge. This will provide the participants with a learning experience and a new concept each time they come!

The Greene Street Market at Nativity is downtown Huntsville's producer-only, open-air market for fresh, locally-grown vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers! It's where you go to meet farmers with gorgeous local produce, grass fed beef and pork, free range chickens and eggs; pick up freshly-prepared meals, gourmet popsicles, traditionally-made relishes, cheeses, preserves and breads. Every first Thursday of each month from 5pm-7pm is Tea & Colouring at the Meadery.
The bar manager Kenna will be putting on a complimentary urn of tea, a nibble of some sort, and hosting an informal colouring party at the group table. Bring your own colouring books, or grab a pre-printed sheet. Pencils will be available for you to use. Join for some self care, relaxation and community at no charge!
