Whistlestop BBQ Festival is BACK and better than ever for 2024! Originating in 2001, WhistleStop BBQ Festival has become a Rocket City tradition and is well-known and loved by locals and BBQ lovers across the region. MidCity District is proud to partner with i3 to bring this event to life while also benefiting Earlyworks. Guests can expect delicious BBQ tastings, People’s Choice BBQ competition, food trucks and other food options, cocktail and mocktail drinks, BBQ vendors, artists, and artisans, a Bud Light tailgate zone for football fans, and LIVE music with Caleb Mills, 5ive O’ Clock Charlie, Element XI, Pine Hill Haints, Mustache The Band. Leftover Salmon will be headlining Saturday night starting at 4:00PM before the Billy Strings concert. Guests are encouraged to hang out for more local live music after the headliner.
