Prayer is needed now in schools more than ever. Organizer Mel Bowers, a local mom and entrepreneur, wants to start an annual prayer event in Madison County and surrounding areas. This is free to the public and everyone is welcome. Let’s show a oneness in the community. This will be held right across from Milton Frank. Everyone is asked to wear red shirts or order on the Eventbrite page.
These are unprecedented and challenging times for students, parents, teachers, faculty and staff members. “We all want a better future for our students, one that is safe, positive and fair for all. Prayer is the first, and best, thing we can do to make this happen. It is neither about race, school name district or zone. Nor about color, age, or grade level. It is about unity for our community.

We encourage everyone — every church and every leader — every parent and every student– every teacher and all staff to come out and stand for our students 2019-2020 school year. The goal is to have the event strategically occur near the beginning of the school year.
