Spring Concerts on the Dock at Lowe Mill

Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is more than a little excited to kick off their signature concert series, Concerts on the Dock. Featuring a variety of music styles from local and regional musicians, there is something for everyone at this casual, festival-style concert series.
Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment’s Spring Concerts on the Dock series will have artists curated by Marcus Pope. Pope is an instructor at Randolph School as well as operating Pope’s School of Percussion in Huntsville. Pope received his degree in music education and performance from Alabama A&M University. Lowe Mill A&E is looking forward to the beats Pope will bring to our signature concert series.
The bands begin at 6:00 p.m., just as the sun is setting behind the water tower. The bands play until 9:00 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and grab a patch of grass in front of the stage.There are also risers available for seating. Leashed pets are welcome. Kids are welcome, too! (No leash required.) Since it’s a kid-friendly event, keep an eye out for the hula-hooping kids in front of the stage!
Concerts on the Dock isn’t just about the music! Come in a few minutes early to see the artwork in one of the seven galleries or stop in and visit with an artist in their studio and watch them make art. Ask a painter why they use that brush, ask a sculptor about molten metal, or just admire the beauty of their art. All of our studios encourage guests to walk in and engage with the artist. Lowe Mill A&E artists are passionate about their art and love to share the art they make everyday here at Lowe Mill A&E.
Picnics are welcome or you can get to Lowe Mill A&E early and grab something to eat from one of our many food and drink vendors to enjoy before the show.
Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment’s Concerts on the Dock which begins Friday, April 21 and continues every Friday night through Friday, May 26 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Lowe Mill A&E is located at 2211 Seminole Drive, Huntsville, Ala. Parking is $10.00. Load up your car with all your friends and Head to Lowe Mill A&E to enjoy a night of music and fun. Parking is $10.00 per car.
