Loons, pelicans, ducks – oh my! Joe Wheeler State Park is a birder’s paradise during the winter! Migrating through or staying put, these birds feast upon the plentiful source of fish that inhabit the Tennessee River to get some extra energy. Join the Park Naturalist as they lead you around to the best birding spots in the park!
