Spider Special! Terrarium Display at Cook Museum

October 21

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00 AM, repeating until October 31, 2020

Included with membership or general admission

Did you know that spider silk is one of the strongest natural materials found on our planet? A spider’s silk is 5x stronger than a piece of steel of the same size.

Join us this October in the Around the House terrarium display for Spider Special!  Come check out several species of spiders like the yellow garden spider and the golden silk orb-weaver that you might find in your own backyard. The Museum’s Explainers will be on hand to share some fun facts about what makes spiders so amazing.

*Programs that are FREE for Members still require the redemption of FREE Member Timed-Entry Tickets.
