The Huntsville Symphony’s 70th season opens with a celebration of our fantastic musicians, heard in soloistic roles throughout this evening’s diverse program – from Handel’s High Baroque Concerto grosso in B minor, to Stravinsky’s elegant, retrospective treatment of Pulcinella, to Ravel’s gripping technicolor orchestration of Pictures at Exhibition, originally a piano suite by Modest Mussorgsky based on artwork by Viktor Hartmann.
