National Public Lands Day at Harvest Square

FreeCelebrate National Public Lands Day with the Land Trust of North Alabama by volunteering to help complete a variety of trail and infrastructure improvements at Harvest Square Nature Preserve. This effort is part of a multi-year project made possible with grant funding provided by Toyota and the National Environmental Education Foundation. Volunteers will assist by constructing and repairing benches, tending to the pollinator garden, improving trail signage, and more. Please dress appropriately for weather conditions, bring water, snacks, and work gloves. Water, work gloves, and tools will be provided as needed. No experience required. Complete a separate registration for each individual participating (each person must sign a waiver). Guardians may sign up on behalf of minors.
When: Saturday, September 28 from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
