NASA’s Artemis I Launch Party

August 29 @ 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM

Need an excuse to start your week with a party? The U.S. Space & Rocket has you covered!

On Monday, August 29, NASA will make its grand return to the Moon with the agency’s most powerful launch vehicle to date, the Space Launch System. Join the Rocket Center team for a party celebrating the launch of NASA’s Artemis I mission – featuring hands-on activities for the young and young and young-at-heart, appearances by our friendly astronaut mascot TOPPS, and the stream of NASA’s official live broadcast on our 34.5-foot-screen.

Meet in the Davidson Center of Space Exploration under the nation’s original Moon rocket, the Saturn V, to witness NASA’s first lunar launch in 40 years. The doors will open bright and early at 6:30 a.m. The launch window is set from 7:33 a.m. to 9:33 a.m., and you won’t want to miss a moment of the fun.

This is a no-cost event, but be sure to click here to reserve your complimentary party pass. Unlike low Earth orbit, there is limited space.
Come dressed in your finest space gear. We can’t wait to celebrate this momentous occasion with you!
Artemis launch date and time are subject to change with NASA scheduling.

When: August 29 | 6:30-9:30 AM
Cost: Free (admission to museum is not included)
