Celebrate Mother’s Day with a “cuppa” charm and elegance at Huntsville Botanical Garden!
This Mother’s Day, Huntsville Botanical Garden (HBG) invites families to indulge in an unforgettable afternoon of connection, charm, and celebration at Mom & Me Tea at the Garden, held on Sunday, May 11, 2025, with two exclusive seatings at 1:00–2:30 p.m. and 3:15–4:45 p.m. in the beautifully adorned Celebration Garden. In the case of inclement weather, the event will relocate to the cozy ambiance of the Carriage House.
This elegant, family-friendly tea experience is designed to delight and inspire across generations, offering guests a refreshing way to honor the extraordinary women in their lives amidst the natural beauty of the Garden. With pastel linens, fresh floral arrangements, and the enchanting sounds of acoustic guitar music, the atmosphere promises both sophistication and warmth.
Guests will enjoy a curated light menu of cucumber sandwiches, tomato basil sandwiches, strawberry herb sandwiches, pimento cheese or turkey cranberry sandwiches, macaroons, petit fours, and fresh fruit alongside a choice of premium teas from Piper & Leaf. A cash blini bar—featuring traditional adult blinis and charming non-alcoholic “baby blinis” for little ones—adds a unique twist to the afternoon affair.
Young guests will receive a keepsake bowtie or necklace, and the event will include special moments like a “Toast to Moms” and photo ops in one of the Garden’s most picturesque corners.

Tickets are limited and expected to sell quickly. Guests will be seated at round tables of eight.
