Nearly 4 million babies are born in the U.S. every year, and each one needs us. Join more than 1,000 people at Charger Park at UAH in support of moms at every stage from preconception to post-delivery with research, programs and education — and it all comes together with a celebration at March for Babies on Saturday, April 21st. We walk (and run) to give EVERY BABY a fighting chance.
It’s a cause near & dear to the parents here at Rocket City Mom. This is why.
More than 1,000 individuals will come together at Charger Park at UAH to support the March of Dimes with the goal of raising a total of $300,000 for a healthier future for babies. Festival area & dDonation turn-in opens 8AM, with Opening Ceremonies starting at 8:30 a.m. The March & Run for Babies beginning at at 9:15 a.m. Festival activities and award announcements continue until close at 11:30 a.m.
FOR KIDS: We will continue our Superhero Sprint this year for all of our amazing kids (ages 1-10) beginning at 9AM. The Superhero Sprint is a kids “fun run” that will be implemented at all March for Babies walk sites, and puts the March of Dimes “mission in motion.” We can’t wait to see you there!
Thanks to all our walkers/runners, donors and volunteers who have accepted the challenge to help fight premature birth, birth defects and infant loss. We cannot achieve our mission without each one of you! The 2018 March for Babies will highlight the strength of families affected by premature birth, birth defects and the loss of a child, celebrate the strides we’ve made towards accomplishing our mission and applaud the fundraising efforts of our donors.
