The Second Annual Huntsville Science Festival is here, and we are going to have In-Person Live Events this year! (Covid precautions will be in place.)

The opening ceremony at 10:30 am will feature Mayor Tommy Battle, NASA administrators and several top executives from the companies that have made Huntsville one of the world’s most important centers of science and technology. Our Keynote Address and presentation will be made by Huntsville’s own Destin Sandlin, the founder of Smarter Every Day.

Noon – Michael Green the Science Machine
1:00 PM – Tesla Guns – Let’s Shoot Lightening!
1:30 PM – Huntsville Ballet – Dance and the Physics of Movement
2:30 PM -Rock and Roll Hall of Fame drummer, Chris Vrenna, Science of Sound
3:30 PM – Steve Trash – Magician and Rockin’ Eco Warrior
4:30 PM – Tesla Guns – Go out with a BANG

WE WILL BE GIVING AWAY SPACE-FLOWN DINOSAURS BONES TO LUCKY ART-CONTEST WINNERS and as lottery-type giveaways throughout the day! Each dinosaur bone fragment comes framed with a certificate of authenticity from Blue Origin stating it flew on the New Shepard Rocket! There are less than a hundred “SPACE-DINOSAURS” on the entire planet, so this is TRULY A UNIQUE PRIZE!

NASA will have incredible hands-on displays and interactive booths for all ages.

Northrop Grumman will have 20 interactive booths, prizes and demonstrations including a 40 foot tall rocket tower!
There will be 2,000 FREE science kits and other giveaways from participating companies and organizations.
Meet scientists from many fields including paleontology (Dinosaurs!), archeology, meteorology, geology, and many more.
