Homeschool Tour Days at Alabama Constitution Hall Park- Textiles

Alabama Constitution Hall Park and the Huntsville Museum of Art present Homeschool Days: a collaborative and interactive history and art experience! Each Homeschool Day includes a specialized tour of Alabama Constitution Hall Park covering the history of the site and its role in Alabama statehood, a history related interactive hands-on activity, and an art-making experience hosted by the Huntsville Museum of Art.
Wednesday April 2nd
The use of textiles began in prehistoric times and reflects the technology available to varied cultures. Learn why the spinning wheel and loom became popular textile instruments and see them demonstrated. Students will create their textile-based items before an art making experience.
