Join us for the festival of colors-Holi on March 11th from 11 am to 2:30 pm at HCCNA temple premises. Tickets are $5 per person, kids under 7 are free. Fare includes cultural activities, food (optional) and a packet of color.
This is a fun and family friendly event hosted by the Huntsville India Association. Holi(aka Pagwah) indicates the arrival of the Spring season in the Indian subcontinent, this tradition of playing with colors dates back to the 4th century. The festival starts off with cultural events of songs and dance by the Indian community, followed by food (optional) and color play outside the HCCNA building. Anyone and everyone is fair game during play with colors, think of this event as color run meets Bollywood fun and dancing. We hope to see you there!
